checking out an e-book
Checking out an eBook is a simple process! All you'll need is a valid library card from a Winnefox Library System library (choose Winnefox from the menu when you log in).
First confirm that the title you'd like to check out is in the proper format (which format is device specific, but most often EPUB, PDF and MP3 formats are compatible with the popular e-book readers). Next, confirm that the title is available for checkout (that it reads "Add to My Cart"):
(You can also place holds on titles that are not currently available and sign up to receive email notification when they are.)
The title will be added to your cart. You'll need to complete the checkout process within 30 minutes or your title will be returned to the library's collection. To complete checkout, click "Proceed to Checkout":
You may be given the option to select your lending period, and then click "Confirm check out":
The title is then moved to your list of checked-out items, and you're given the link to download the title. Need help downloading?
