Understanding this Report
- Overdrive defines a "new patron registration" as the first time a patron logs into Overdrive.
- Overdrive counts the number of times books are checked out to our patrons ("owned copies only").
- Overdrive counts the number of unique patrons performing those checkouts.
- Overdrive calculates the average number of checkouts per patron as (# of checkouts) / (# of unique patrons).
- Overdrive calculates the average turnover rate as (# of checkouts) / (# copies owned of titles checked out).
- Overdrive counts the number of holds placed on titles checked out by another patron.
