Understanding this Report

Our vendors providing usage reports compliant with Release 2 of the Code of Practice for Journals and Databases per the Register of Vendors include:

- EBSCO passed COUNTER audit status October 2007.
- Proquest passed COUNTER audit status October 2007.
- WorldCat is due for COUNTER audit May 2008.

Our vendors not currently listed on the Register of Vendors include:

- Grolier
- NetLibrary
- Overdrive

Our compliant vendors all provide the following COUNTER statistics:

• DB1 = Database Report 1: Total Searches and Sessions by Month and Database
• DB3 = Database Report 3: Total Searches and Sessions by Month and Service
• JR1 = Journal Report 1: Number of Successful Full-Text Article Requests by Month and Journal

Additional reports available for some vendors include:

• DB2 = Database Report 2: Turnaways by Month and Database
• JR3 = Number of Successful Item Requests and Turnaways by Month, Journal and Page Type

These reports are currently not provided by any of our vendors:

• JR1a = Number of Successful Full-Text Article Requests by Month and Journal for a Journal Archive
• JR2 = Journal Report 2: Turnaways by Month and Journal
• JR4 = Total Searches Run by Month and Service
