Welcome to the Local Vital Records Index. This database is an index to marriage announcements, anniversary notices and obituaries published in local newspapers. Years indexed are 1977 - June 1980 and 2002-current.

Newspapers indexed in this database include the Berlin Journal, the Green Lake County Reporter, the Markesan Regional Reporter, the Omro Herald, and the Princeton Times-Republic. In addition, other newspapers serving these communities are included as well. All newspapers named above include a Thursday “Feature Section”, which is an insert shared by all the papers published by Berlin Journal Newspapers. Items cited as appearing in the "Feature Section" may be found in any of the five newspapers.

Indexing of newspapers published July 1980 - 2002 is in progress.
